Fix Dead Zones and Dropped Calls in Your Building

Metal roofs, concrete walls, low-E glass and basements all block cell signal. Your staff step outside to take calls. Card readers time out. Customers can't load anything.

Davis Electronics designs and installs cellular coverage for businesses across Lansing and Mid-Michigan. That means signal boosters, private LTE/5G networks, and cellular backup internet. It's done by an engineer who spent five years working on cell sites, not by someone reading the box instructions.

What We Install

Cell Signal Boosters

We take the signal that already exists outside your building and bring it inside. This works for all major carriers. We measure signal before and after, so you can see the improvement in numbers.

Good fit for: offices, warehouses, pole barns, restaurants, clinics and retail.

Cellular Backup Internet (Failover)

When your main internet goes down, your network automatically switches to a cellular connection. Card machines, phones and cameras stay online, and nobody has to touch anything.

Good fit for: restaurants, retail, medical and dental offices, and any business that loses money when the internet drops.

Private LTE / 5G Networks

This is your own cellular network, covering your property. It reaches outdoor yards, large buildings and multi-building sites where Wi-Fi struggles. It's built on the same kind of equipment as carrier networks.

Good fit for: manufacturing, ag operations, campuses, schools and large facilities.

How a Cell Signal Booster Works

How a cell signal booster works An outdoor antenna on the roof picks up signal from the nearest cell tower, a cable carries it to an amplifier inside, the amplifier boosts it, and indoor antennas rebroadcast it so phones inside get strong signal. Cell tower weak outside signal 1 AMPLIFIER2 3 4
  1. A roof antenna captures the existing outside signal.
  2. The amplifier boosts it.
  3. Indoor antennas rebroadcast it through your building.
  4. Phones inside get strong signal, on every major carrier.

Why Work With Us

Most booster installers come from TV antennas or home electronics. Collin Davis comes from the carrier side. He did T-Mobile cell-site integrations and spent years as a field engineer on Boost Mobile's 5G network. He knows how cellular networks actually behave, so he designs your coverage instead of guessing at it.

  • Measured, not guessed. We survey signal from each carrier before we quote, and we document the results after the install.
  • Done to code. All booster equipment is FCC-certified, and we take care of carrier registration.
  • Clean installs. Cables are routed, labeled and documented, the same standard as our network cabling work.
  • Local and on call. We're based in Bath, serve the Lansing area, and offer 24/7 emergency support.

How It Works

  1. Free signal survey. We come to your site and measure signal from each carrier, inside and out.
  2. Design and quote. You get a written plan showing where antennas go, what equipment we'll use, and the expected coverage. The survey is free, with no obligation.
  3. Install. Most small-office installs are completed in a single visit.
  4. Verify. We re-test after the install and give you the before-and-after results.

Common Questions

Will a booster work if there's no signal outside?

No. A booster can only amplify signal that's already there. If the survey finds nothing usable outside, we'll tell you, and we'll look at other options like a private network.

Does it work with every carrier?

Most commercial boosters support all major U.S. carriers at the same time. We confirm which ones you need during the survey.

Are signal boosters legal?

Yes, as long as the equipment is FCC-certified and registered with your carrier. We handle both.

What does it cost?

Small-office systems start at $1,799 installed. Bigger buildings, weaker outside signal, or more carriers can raise that. The free survey tells you exactly what you need before you commit to anything.

Do you serve my area?

We cover Lansing, East Lansing, Bath, DeWitt, Okemos, Haslett, Holt, Mason, Grand Ledge, St. Johns, Williamston and the rest of Mid-Michigan.
